Stained Glass is an art established for over a thousand years, it has know a great growth in the construction of magnificent European cathedrals and other places of worship in Europe and in the new world. At the end of the 19th century, under the impulse of Louis Comfort Tiffany, a new era began with the advent of new techniques and the creation of opalescent glass that brought this art out of churches to become more profane in its treatment and offered to the imagination of designers and architects since Art Deco to Bauhaus to today. Happy Glass Studio brings here in India a know-how at the disposal of enthusiasts but also to building professionals looking for new avenues.

Robert L’Heureux is a Canadian artist from Montreal. He began his apprenticeship as a glass maker at the end of the 1970s in an effervescent era where new ways of living and expressing oneself were sought. His learning leaded him throughout the country, to settle where the artistic community was present and involved. Today, since 7 years in India, he has set up his workshop in Auroville, the utopian city, from which he offers his teaching, creations and inspiration to those who seek light in their environment, those who want to go a little further in their perspective.Contact
